Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City used to be a vacation destination for me and my family, when we still lived in Germany.
Every year or every other year my family and I would fly over to visit my mom's side of the family.
We would spend our time with our cousins, Aunts, Uncles and our Grandma. When we visited in the Summer we would go four-wheeling swimming at Pine-view, visit Antelope Island and go shopping.
In the winter we would spend more time next to the fire place at my grandmas, doing puzzles, reading books, making snowmen and snowmobiling.
These Trips were always the most family oriented and we always had a blast.

  1. I think it's kind of funny that Salt Lake City was a destination spot for you and your family. Whenever you go on trips to like Zion, etc... it's kind of crazy to see how many people from all over the world visit those places! I guess you we don't really realize how amazing the structures we have hear in Utah, or the U.S. are. It's because we are always around them and often times take them for granted. It's the same with other aspects of our lives. We take a lot of the blessings we have for granted because we have had them all our lives. We also tend to believe everyone has the same things we have; when in reality that is not always the case. Really good blog; I liked it! It made me realize how grateful I should be for where I live and what I have(I know that probably seems kind of weird haha but it really did make me think!)
